What is the Comfort Closet? It is a service that provides our students in need with clothing, food, and hygiene products.
Where is the Comfort Closet located? The closet is located in the Student Services Department and provides these needs to the students throughout the year at no cost to the students.
How does the Comfort Closet operate? The comfort closet runs on donations, and we are always taking donations. With your help, we will be able to provide to all students in need.
What are items needed? Some products needed include:
- Non-perishable foods – peanut butter crackers, granola bars, single serving oatmeal, single serving macaroni and cheese, cup ramen, (ramen blocks are okay but not preferred), Hormel meals, single microwavable meals, snacks boxes like variety chips and variety cookie bags, mini boxes of cereal, cereal bars/granola bars, pop-tarts, pop-top cans, fruit snacks, and small individual chip bags, bottles of water, and bottles of Gatorade.
- Hygiene Products (for both male and female) – Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothpaste, Deodorant, Facewash, Body wash, Soap, Razors, Loofas (Shower Scrubbies), Hairbrush, Body Spray/Perfume, Q-Tips, Hair Ties, Tampons, Pads, Underwear (Boy and Girl), Chapstick, Hand Soap, Lotion, Kleenex.
- Must be NEW bottles/products – Not travel size
Where are drop-off locations? To drop off supplies, you can find drop-off locations in the Principal’s Office or the Student Services Office.
