Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America is open to anyone who is taking or has taken a course in family and consumer science. The A-J chapter is affiliated with the section, state and national organizations. Some of the activities of the chapter include service projects for the school and community, social activities for the members and their families and educational programs for the members.
FCCLA also puts on a Secret Student Appreciation Week in March for the faculty at A-J. Each student gets a teacher to give a small secret gift to at the week. The faculty member gets their student a gift in return, and everyone has a Pancake bar breakfast together.
